Why can't I open a chapter again?

That's the idea. A chapter stays open for 24 hours, then closes so you keep moving forward. The verses you kept and your notes stay forever. Twice a month you can reopen a closed chapter for another 24 hours.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works on your phone without one. Sign in with Apple if you want a backup, sync across devices, or to read with a group.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Your account and all data on our server are removed.
