Press On Bible — Privacy Policy
Draft · last updated October 2026 · Goodflow
Press On Bible is a Bible reading app. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your data.
What stays on your phone
Everything you do in Press On is stored on your device first: the chapters you open, the verses you keep, and the notes and reflections you write. If you never sign in, nothing leaves your device.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Apple, we store on our server (Supabase, United States):
- an account identifier from Apple, and the email Apple shares with us (often a private relay address);
- your reading history (which chapters you opened and when), the verses you kept, and your notes — so they are backed up and appear on your other devices.
Your notes may reflect your religious beliefs. We treat them as sensitive: only you can read them. They are protected by access rules on our database so no other user can see them, and we do not read them.
Groups
If you create or join a group, the other members can see your display name, how many chapters you have opened, which chapters you opened in the last few days, and any reflection you choose to share with the group. They can never see your private notes or kept verses.
Notifications
Reminders ("Genesis 1 closes in 3 hours") are scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent through our servers.
Services we use
- Supabase (database and sign-in), United States
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store)
We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account and everything stored on our server, and revokes Press On's access to your Apple ID. Data on your device is removed at the same time.
Children
Press On is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
